Genshin Impact’s 2.0 update is around the corner, the likely upcoming character, Kokomi, may arrive in 2.1 along with the Heartseeker sword.

 

According to a Genshin Impact leaker on Twitter, a reliable contact has hinted at one new character and one new weapon coming to the game in version 2.1. The likely upcoming character, Kokomi, may arrive in 2.1 along with the Heartseeker sword. Both Kokomi and the sword have been seen briefly in official Genshin Impact media, so it wouldn’t come as a total surprise if they get released in the near future.
 
The report comes the way of Genshin Impact insider and leaker, Genshin Report, who relays word that they heard that the game's next update is actually planning to add a new character and a new weapon, with the former being Kokomi, the leader of the Sangonomiya Resistance, who the game describes as a wise, intelligent character.
 
Sangonomiya Kokomi (Japanese: 珊さん瑚ご宮のみや心ここ海みSangonomiya Kokomi) is an upcoming character in Genshin Impact. She appeared on the Version 2.0 Special Program. She shares a surname with the location Sangonomiya Shrine. Kokomi is a woman with long, light salmon-colored hair and blue eyes. Her attire is primarily blue and white. The sleeves of her outfit resembles the sleeves of a kimono, being navy blue with white accents that resemble waves. A blue ribbon with white stripes is on her chest, in which her Hydro vision is attached to. The back of her outfit has two drapes resembling fish fins.
 
"Despite her delicate appearance, she is the leader of the Sangonomiya resistance," reads the blurb about the character. "She is a wise and resourceful military advisor. Although she always wears a very serene smile, she actually has everything arranged and in her grasp. She is the brains of the forces.
 
As far as the weapon is concerned it will be the Heartseeker, also known as the Star Seeker. The Star Seeker is Keqing’s weapon and it will be available during the Moonchase event, with her story quest. That’s quite a lot of information from the 2.1 Update. With the beta starting anytime now, we should be learning more pretty soon.
