What are the Decorations?
Decorations are items with Armor Skills that can be added to equipment in Monster Hunter World. These decorations (also called jewels) have levels from 1 to 3, and can only fit on a weapon or piece of Armor with a slot big enough to fit it. You can tell what kind of decoration a slot can accommodate based on the number of triangles below it:
·A level 1 slot will have 1 triangle
·A level 2 slot will have 2 triangles
·A level 3 slot will have 3 triangles
 
How to get Decorations?
The best way to do some Monster Hunter World Decoration farming is to complete High Rank quests, as they typically have a chance of giving you some of these precious items. Specifically, we recommend taking a look at the current event quests available in the game because these usually give a nice handful of Decorations upon completion.
 
You can now roll for Warped Streamstoned at the Elder Melder. If you have enough high commendations and research points, you can run through all your Streamstones rolling Warped Feystones. The Elder Melder also has Soul Stream I and Soul Stream II which award the new Streamstones. Be warned, these are crazy expensive and will eat up a ton of your resources. These give you ancient feystones and carved Feystones, which are the new level 4 decorations. Soul Stream II is probably the best to focus on.
 
Once your hunter rank grows into the double-digits, you will want to look out for Tempered Investigations, as these are good sources of decorations. You should also attempt to hunt Elder Dragons, such as Zorah Magdaros and Nergigante, as they will almost always drop a decoration – though the fights can be arduous. Beyond just normal Tempered Investigations, remember to try out the Master Rank Tempered Investigations.
 
The last way you can receive the decorations is hunting the elder dragons such as the likes of Zorah Magdaros, and Nergigante. These dragons are all very likely to drop decorations to reward the hunters. The fights, however, could be severely arduous.
