After months of rumours and radio silence from PUBG developer Bluehole,
Battlegrounds finally looks set for a PS4 launch. As we know, the game has been out on both Xbox One and PC since 2017. and now the game is finally coming to the PlayStation 4. It is said that
PUBG is arriving on Sony’s PlayStation 4 on December 7th. At the moment, it is available for pre-order, which will get you a special set of PS4 exclusives outfits, and you can experience what’s it’s like from PS 4 Pro. So with a new version of the game coming out soon, many gamers may find it hard to make a choice between them. To save your time, we'll be looking at the game's performance on the two top of the line consoles: the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X. it is worth mentioning that the PC version also effects the performance heavily.
Both of these consoles are adequately equipped to run PUBG with 1TB of storage and top tier processors. So when it comes down to it, the differences are mostly pretty small. You can check the following video for graphic comparison between them.
When it comes to the processors, the Xbox One X has the PS4 beat on both accounts. Both consoles have the 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU, but the Xbox One X's runs at 2.3GHz compared to the PS4's 2.1GHz. The CPU goes the same way, being slightly in favor of the Xbox One X. When it comes to physical memory (RAM) the Xbox One X also wins out at 12GB to the PS4's 9GB, meaning the game will run slightly better in that regard. Resolution is the same for both at 4K, meaning the game will look the same on both consoles once performance has been disregarded.
All in all, the Xbox One X will be able to run PUBG marginally better, but the console is also priced around 100 dollars higher than the PS4 Pro in most places. Both consoles will probably run PUBG at a similar performance standard, but if you are looking for the absolute best PUBG console experience the Xbox One X is the way to go.
PUBG is set to be released on Sony’s PlayStation 4 on December 7th. The base game will be priced at $30 on the PS4, with a “survivor’s edition” at $50 and “champion’s edition” for $60. Both the extra additions include bonus G-Coin and extra in-game rewards, and preorders begin from November 13. PUBG on the PS4 will include access to the three Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok maps, and all the major features of the PC and Xbox One versions. PUBG on PS4 Pro will also include support for HDR. So if you want to enjoy totally chicken dinner experience on PS4, no waiting and pre order now. For more on PUBG and
