Install Titanium Bones Cyberware

Visit a Ripperdoc to purchase the Titanium Bones cyberware. This is a skeleton cyberware piece that adds more carrying capacity. Each tier of this cyberware adds a bigger percentage of weight space to V's Inventory. Return to Ripperdocs regularly to upgrade or purchase better versions as V gains more street cred. Street cred levels up as V clears the streets of the city. Some cyberware will have random effects such as enhancing carrying weight. Keep an eye out for these effects when buying and looting cyberware.

 

Raise Solo Skill Level to 5 and 25

One of the easiest ways to raise your carrying capacity by 150 is to level up your Solo Skill. This brand new skill introduced in Update 2.0, will grant you +50 carrying capacity at Solo Level 5, and +100 carrying capacity at Solo Level 25. You can raise your Solo Skill easily by using blunt melee weapons to kill enemies.

 

Use the Capacity Booster

Another way to temporarily increase the capacity limit is to use the Capacity Booster. This is one of the items that you can find as loot, or buy from traders. It increases the load limit by 50% for 30 minutes of game time. Using a booster can be a good idea e.g. at the end of a big battle or a longer quest when there's a chance to collect weapons and armor from a bigger location and getting away with it quickly. This will allow you to make the most of the 1800 seconds and return with your items to a merchant or a deposit box in V's apartment.

 

Find Carry Capacity Shards

Another method, recently added with the Phantom Liberty expansion, is the Carry Capacity Shards found within Dogtown airdrops. Whenever driving around Dogtown, you may randomly hear a strange noise with a plane flying by with an airdrop. Head to that airdrop and kill all the enemies there, then interact with the drop to secure to goods. Among most of these will be a Carry Capacity shard, increasing your max Carry Capacity by 2. These are endlessly farmable as a nice bonus.

 

Find Clothing Mods

Clothing mods are found in clothing shops all around the Night City. So far, we do not know if there is any other way to obtain the clothing mods. There are some reports that certain chests also provide clothing mods, but we haven’t encountered any so far. As for the clothing shop, they appear as Jacket icon on the map. Not all shop would have the clothing mods, but if they do the mods can provide you buffs and boosts. One of the mods you can find early on in the game is the ‘Backpacker,’ it increases you carry capacity by 7. As you progress in the game, you will find better mods that increase the carry capacity even more.

 

Pack Mule Perk

Every attribute in CP2077 has some perks that you can get. Increasing one of the best starting attributes: the Body attribute can get you the Pack Mule perk. It is under the Athletics tree, which we will be talking about in a bit.

 

Getting this Pack Mule perk will increase carry capacity and inventory size in Cyberpunk 2077 by 60. If you have spent your perk points in some other tree, don’t worry as you can easily respec perk points in CP2077.
