Downtime for Void Edge begins on March 10 at 6:00 PDT / 9:00 EDT / 13:00 GMT on PC – Xbox One follows one hour later, and PS4 an hour after that – and the maintenance is scheduled to last about one hour. When servers come back online, you’ll be able to hop into Void Edge and play with all the changes for yourself.
 
Explaining why so much extra download time will be needed, a message from Ubisoft explains: “To consolidate and reduce the overall game size, we have made some more improvements with restructuring how game data is stored. This means the season patch will be larger than normal.”

This patch will nerf her by slightly increasing her gun’s recoil and spread. The initial reduced recoil will now only be applied on the first 11 bullets rather than 14. Ying’s frag grenade will be replaced by a claymore and the annoying Clash exploit will finally be fixed.
 
Oregon is getting a map rework, sporting an updated look with more open areas, and new access points. The Big Tower will connect directly to the Kitchen, and a new Freezer area will be added, among other changes. On the whole the changes aim to make the rotations safer for both attackers and defenders. The game is also getting a large change in the previously announced shrapnel system, which overhauls how barricade debris will work, and attacker drone spawns will no longer be random.
