On June 13, Rockstar confirmed that a long-time request fulfilled: luxury Casino coming GTA Online via its Twitter Account.

 

The opening of the casino was actually rumored earlier this month: As reported by GamesRadar, GTA Online dataminer TezFunz2 dug up information revealing changes to an area near the casino  in a series of tweets.
 
"There were rumors that GTAO Next Update will feature the casino, I can confirm it," tweeted out infamous GTA dataminer TezFunz2
 
"Just now, [Rockstar] have updated the background script to set specific dates that will apply changes to the casino," he continued. "You'll notice changes happening near the casino as we move closer to release."
 
And now Rockstar Games has confirmed that the GTA casino is coming soon.
 
A new tweet on the official Rockstar Twitter account has told fans:
 
After the “opening soon” sign disappeared from the casino last week a popular dataminer revealed that its doors would be opening soon.
 
It's likely a hint from Rockstar that we'll see a casino-themed update, similar to the After Hours or Arena War updates, come to GTA Online sometime soon. We don't know if it will simply be adding gambling minigames or something more elaborate, perhaps a continuation of the Heists update.
 
So far, there's no release date to suggest when this update could drop. And details on how the casino will work haven't been announced yet either.
