Eagle Bearer is the brand new exotic rifle added to The Division 2 in the Operation Dark Hours raid which is The Division 2’s first eight-player raid. The raid comes with many rewards and cool and one of such rewards is the new exotic rifle Eagle Bearer. But the Eagle Bearer isn’t going to be an easy weapon to acquire, at least not for everyone. Those hunting for the Exotic would best prepare for what’s involved.

 
 

Eagle Bear Exotic Weapon Talents and Mods
 
First, let’s talk about what talents Eagle Bear has, and if the Exotic weapon is any good, too. The talents for the Exotic assault rifle are very promising, as you can see below:
 
Eagle Bear Talents:

Eagle’s Strike: Accuracy increases up to 100% as you continuously fire, headshot kills grant an additional 100% to reload speed, +35% damage, and Tenacity is buffed for 10 seconds. This perk also boosts the strength of Tenacity by 1% for body shots and 5% for headshots.
Tenacity: 20-80% of damage taken is delayed until the buff expires.
Protected Fire: While the Eagle Bearer is holstered, you’ll gain 10% bonus armor while firing your current weapon.

Eagle Bear Mods:

The Eagle Bearer will have four mods:
Optics will add 10 per cent critical chance
Magazine will provide 30 extra rounds
Underbarrel will give 10 per cent stability
Muzzle will boost critical hit damage by 15 per cent
 
How to unlock Eagle Bear Exotic Weapon in The Division 2?
 
Unfortunately, there’s no direct path to acquiring the Eagle Bearer. To obtain the Eagle Bearer, you need to beat the Division 2 raid, Operation Dark Hours and kill the raid's bosses. Operation Dark Hours has four bosses which include the first boss Boomer, the second boss trio Dizzy, Ricochet and Weasel, the third boss duo Lucy and Buddy and the last boss DDP-52 Razorback. Each time you defeat a boss, check their drops and if you are lucky, you will find Eagle Bearer exotic rifle in there. However, since a lot of people who have completed the raid still don't have the weapon, it doesn't seem to have a significantly high chance of dropping.
 
In addition, players can also obtain the exotic through opening raid chests. You will find plenty of chests in Operation Dark Hours and you should try to open as many as you can until you find this exotic weapon. To open a locked chest, you will need a key which is dropped by the raid’s bosses.
 
The only guaranteed way to obtain the Eagle Bearer exotic is to beat the raid five times. Yeah... that may sound easy enough, but the raid is far more difficult than anything we've seen in The Division 2 before. Beating it five times will allow you to open the locked chest in the back of the plane after beating the final boss. You better get grinding!
