World of Warcraft Mount Guide: What Are the Rarest Mounts in World of Warcraft
MOBA Games   WoW Mount Guide   WoW Rarest Mounts   2023-03-20 09:16:24

When players start exploration in World of Warcraft, they are often attracted by Mounts in the large world. There are various kinds of Mounts in World of Warcraft. Some are easy to get, others are rare to farm. Do you want to know what are the rarest mounts in World of Warcraft? We list several rarest mounts in this article. Players can get Cheap WoW Classic Gold to upgrade their characters quickly and explore more difficult dungeons in WoW.

The Rarest Mounts in World of Warcraft
    The Sea Turtle
For players that have never gone fishing in Northrend, this mount is a rare sight, but for those that spend time grinding the most important secondary profession, it's one of the easiest to get. This unique mount is only available from fishing nodes in Northrend, and it's a random drop, so the only way to find it is to go out into the wild and bait a hook.

There are a few guidelines to follow to make it easier to find this mount. It's only found in schools of fish, not open water, and players have an equal chance of finding it in both fresh and salt water. It's a slow mount no matter what the character's Riding skill level, but it's extra fast in the water.

    Ashes of Al’ar
Ashes of Al’ar remains a truly iconic WoW mount. The Burning Crusade saw Blizzard Entertainment begin to develop what WoW mounts could and would be, creating a plethora of exciting mounts in tandem with their new gameplay feature, flying.

Dropped by the infamous Kael’thas Sunstrider who dwells within the 25-man raid, The Eye, Ashes of Al’ar is still widely sought after to this day. It’s unlike any other mount in the game (although bears some similarity to the Dark Phoenix mount), and was truly a sight to behold when it first arrived, 15 years ago.

    Rivendare’s Deathcharger
Rivendair’s Deathcharger is one of the rarest mounts in the game and possibly the single rarest in classic Wow. It is even rarer than the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare, the sword of the same ruler. Deathcharger’s Reins drops after defeating Baron Rivendare, the Death Knight, in Stratholme. The drop rate of Deathcharger’s Reins, the item that calls the mount, is less than 1%, making this deathcharger one of the most coveted mounts in the world.

Baron Rivendare was once the ruler of Stratholme and now leads a different kind of kingdom, as the replacement for Highlord Mograine atop the dead version of his beloved deathcharger, first among the Four Horsemen of Naxxaramas.

    Risen Mare
ne reward in Battle for Azeroth’s Island Expeditions, World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s Risen Mare can still be attained. It’s an enormous pain to try and unlock, but it’s workable at least. However, the mount is not attractive but a plain, unadorned skeletal ride available for non-Horde players.

This is the plain mount Undead players unlocked back in Vanilla. Another fun fact is that it’s the only horse in the game without a saddle. Sounds uncomfortable! To get it, tackle Island Expeditions that have Necromancer mobs.

As long as Necromancers are on the island, any mob can drop this. Conversely, you can also buy Havenswood Salvage. Those have a chance to drop the mount, but this item won’t always be available.

    Savage Raptor
Just like the Feldrake, the amount of players who actually own this mount depends on the source. Regardless of where on the 0.1-2% line it falls, this Raptor is rarely ever seen. It's a rare card from the "War of the Elements" pack, and as we are well aware, all TCG mounts are rare.

However, this one will continue to drop in popularity with all but the most dedicated of mount hunters. The Reins of the Red Primal Raptor which became obtainable in Patch 5.2.0 from the Isle of Giants looks almost identical to this one. Sadly, if you want to show off, you'll have to ask people around you to read your mount's tooltip.

We have just mentioned several rarest mounts in World of Warcraft. Although these mounts are not easy to get in the game, you can Buy WoW Classic Gold to get other good mounts in transfer market.
