How to Complete Sympathy Of Death Quest

This quest falls into several steps, and it can take a while to get through them. To get the quest, you'll need to complete the post-campaign quest Lunar Spelunker from Eris on the Moon, and then kill Nightmares with Arc abilities to cleanse the Memory of Sai Mota that it awards players. After that, you'll find Eris through a portal next to her usual spot, and in the chest is the Symphony of Death questline.

 

For this mission you’ll need to pick up the Lunar Spelunker Bounty from Eris Morn in order to obtain the Firewall Data Fragment. This Bounty involves completing three Lost Sectors dotted around the Moon: K1 Communion, K1 Crew Quarters and K1 Logistics. Once you’ve done so, navigate to your Quests tab in the Director and select the completed bounty to collect your Firewall Data Fragment.

 

After you’ve unlocked this fragment head towards the Lost Sector in Sorrow’s Harbor. As you complete it there will be an additional exit with a few red guardian ghosts floating around. Follow the path until you reach a glass door that requires the fragment to unlock.Then you’ll get the quest Memory of Sai Mota.

 

The next step can also be completed in Sorrow's Harbor. You need to kill Nightmares with Arc abilities, so put on your favorite Arc subclass and kill the Nightmares that spawn on the plates around Sorrow's Harbor. Use your guns to soften them up, then use your Super, grenades, and melee abilities to finish them off. Once you've killed enough Nightmares, return to Eris via the portal located near her usual location. Talk to her, open the nearby chest, and you'll receive the Faculties of the Skull step in the Symphony of Death Exotic quest.

 

After you speak to Eris, there will be a chest behind her. Open it to obtain the Faculties of the Skull quest step. This means you must find the Circle of Bones, which is found in the Hellmouth. After activating the quest follow the markers and kill everything in your path until you can pick up the Silent Skull to continue the mission, Symphony of Death. 

 

As the quest information states, you’ll need to complete the K1 Revelation Lost Sector—found in Sorrow’s Harbour,—complete a public event in Hellmouth, and kill the Bone Collector in the Anchor of Light area. The Bone Collector is a random spawn, so this may take some patience.

 

Now it's time for one last mission. This is a 920 Power activity, so be prepared. Head back to the Circle of Bones near the starting point for the previous mission - again, mark it on the map and follow your waypoint. You'll need to run through the Catacombs killing Wizards as you go. These Wizards will start a one-minute timer when they spawn; if the timer reaches zero, you die. To stop the timer, just break the Wizards' shields. This is also true of the Deathsinger final boss, which has a bit more health and many more friends. Kill the Deathsinger to finish the mission.
