The base game - League of Legends, already has above 150 champions in the lineup and Riot will have more champions on the roster, making each champion playable in Wild Rift. The closed beta of Wild Rift started with 40 champions, and with the open beta about to start on the 27th of October, the list has increased to 43, with 6 more on the way.
In a recent dev diary video League of Legends: Wild Rift executive producer Michael “Paladin” Chow Informed us of the upcoming region-specific open beta launches, along with the champions that they have been testing out at the moment. 6 new Wild Rift champions will be up for testing in the closed beta.

Players with access to the closed beta will be able to preview Kai’Sa, Evelynn, Akali, Darius, Draven, and Seraphine, but for a very limited time. The champions will be out for testing from the 22nd to the 27th of October, and Riot have been encouraging players to try the new champions as much as possible, as that will help the Wild Rift devs get them ready for an official release.
 

Each ability of the champions in Wild Rift are tweaked to fit the mobile game platform, and fans will be quite interested to see how the six new champions will be tweaked.
Lee Sin is the next champion being added to League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games has confirmed following a quick sneak peek during the Apple event earlier this week. He was previously teased in the presentation of the latest iPhone 12. In the conference, Wild Rift was showcased in the ‘Games Chapter’ of the Apple Event, which talked about how the MOBA will allow for an incredible gaming experience in the next generation of Apple Devices. Lee Sin has received some adjustments to make him easier for mobile play as well. His kit resembles the League variant of Lee Sin with small adjustments to be more friendly to mobile controls.

One of the most noticeable adjustments affects his W, Safeguard. The ability, which requires Lee Sin to target himself, a ward, or an ally to jump to in League, doesn’t have this liability on the mobile port. Lee Sin can dash wherever he wants, making his combos much easier to execute on mobile. If you’re having issues pulling off an Insec on PC, you shouldn’t have any problem doing it on mobile thanks to this adjustment.
As a classic LoL champion, Lee Sin’s Wild Rift kit is nearly identical to his PC version with just some minor tweaks to better fit the mobile MOBA genre.
 
Riot also announced that Wild Rift is coming to Europe in December. But the mobile version of League won’t be available in North and South America until 2021. In spite of the delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Wild Rift will eventually come into our embrace.
