PUBG Mobile revenue surpasses 80 million US dollars, becomes top-grossing Game by overtaking Honor of Kings
According to the latest statistics from Sensor Tower, in July 2019, the overseas revenue of Tencent’s "PUBG Mobile" reached US$80.65 million, an increase of 28% from June. Among them, the US market contributed 32 million US dollars in revenue, an increase of 565% over the same period last year.

Honor of Kings dropped down on the charts, becoming the second-highest-grossing game across the world. The game was able to accumulate a total revenue of $192 million in July. 94 per cent of the game’s earnings came from China, with 6 per cent from the rest of the world. Taiwan contributed 2.4 per cent to the game.
Monster Strike remained on third place, which is also its previous place. Pokemon GO climbed up to the fourth spot while Roblox dropped to fifth. On the Google Play Store, Monster Strike topped the table and on Apple Store, Honor of Kings topped as the most revenue generating app.
NCSOFT’s Lineage M has recorded its highest monthly spike in revenue since July 2018. It has crossed $75.8 million mark and has generated over $2.8 billion revenue in its lifetime. The game is majorly played in South Korea.
Meanwhile, experiencing its best month since February 2019 is Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle as it earned $87.6 million. It took tenth place and sixth place on the App Store and Google Play, respectively. However, it came in at No.7 overall.
Up to now, the total revenue of "PUBG Mobile" in the App Store and Google Play has defended the global mobile game mobile application revenue champion for three consecutive months, and has maintained a good growth momentum.
Coupled with the achievement of "CrazyRacing Kartrider" in the iOS download list when it went live in July, the performance of "King of Glory" in overseas revenue also increased in July, reaching 21st in the revenue list. Tencent became the company with the highest revenue for China's mobile game publishers in July, and the total revenue of its games in the global App Store and Google Play increased by 27% from June.
In terms of other games, NetEase’s asymmetric competitive mobile game "Identity V" had an overseas revenue increase of 49% in July and a year-on-year increase of more than 300%, rising to the 18th place in the revenue list. Similar to "Survivor Royale", "Identity V" overseas revenue mainly comes from the Japanese market, accounting for 74%, followed by Hong Kong and South Korea, contributing 6.7% and 5.5% respectively.
