Last year, Rainbow Six: Siege launched a special Halloween event and launched a Halloween theme skin for 10 operators. Perhaps Ubisoft will bring us more holiday surprises this year, let us look forward to it.

 

New images and video have surfaced detailing what will most likely be special skins for a Halloween event in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Although originally derided for a poor progression system and lack of substantial content when it was released back in December 2015, Rainbow Six Siege has been consistently updated over the past four years with new maps, characters, and missions, and is now regarded as one of the better multiplayer shooters on the market.

 
We’ve got Doc as a sort of zombified mad scientist. Kapkan is skull-faced monster under the hood. Bandit has a thoroughly unpleasant looking helm of spikes. Frost is a full-on, six-horned demon. Lesion’s got a classic zombie look. Ela seems to be missing any sort of flesh. Vigil’s in a Dali mask.
 
The leak in question comes courtesy of obutu3_, revealing that the characters Bandit, Doc, Ela, Frost, Kaplan, Lesion, Smoke, and Vigil will be getting the terrifying trick or treat costume treatment this year.
 
Each of the new epic skins looks pretty great, although for my money, Frost's is the most upsetting. Her face is split into a monstrous, sharp-toothed grin, and the horns poking out of her scalp are just icing on the cake. Smoke's skin turns him into an alien sewer monster of some kind, and Ela's is called "skin suit"—and the reason why becomes obvious when you give it a second look. Ed Gein called; he says he wants his jogging outfit back.
