At Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference, Ubisoft showed a brief teaser of Ghost Reckon: Break Point, which focus on the villainous Wolves having a pair of glowing red eyes. It showed actor Jon Bernthal giving a speech to his mercenaries, followed by a brief stage appearance from Bernthal flanked by an enormous but very well-behaved dog.
 

 

“There’s no briefing, there's no backup... you will face an entire army. My army. The wolves,” Bernthal said. The Wolves trained alongside the ghosts, so it's a fair fight.

The trailer is aptly titled “We Are Wolves,” showing the Ghosts fighting the Wolves in brutal battle in a jungle, fields and with lots and lots of weapons, including drones and rocket launchers. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set on a multi-biome island called Aurora which houses the technology company SkellTech. As the trailer shows, Walker and his Wolves have commandeered SkellTech’s   Thanks to SkellTech’s drones, weaponry, and vehicles, The Wolves have essentially locked down Aurora and taken all SkellTech employees hostage.

At the end of the trailer, then Laura Chodrey of Ubisoft's Community teamr afterwards announced that the game would feature AI teammates for solo players.
“We want to go the extra mile with how we engage with you,” she said. She unveiled a program called Delta company for gamers to express their thoughts to the development team.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One on Oct. 4, and coming to Google Stadia at launch. Ubisoft will hold a beta for Breakpoint from Sept. 4-8.
