Revamped Trade Logic is Good
 
During the stream, the developers discussed revamping the in-season and offseason trade logic. Any enhancement to this aspect of the game is a marginal improvement in my eyes. However, it stings to have such a cool feature completely removed.
 
No New Classic Stadiums or Created-A-Ballpark
 
There won't be any new classic stadiums in this year's game. That's only a slight bummer, but the real downer is the lack of a create-a-ballpark feature. Perhaps if we were given a concrete explanation why it continues to get passed over year after year, it would make it easier to accept. Gameplay and graphical improvements are here, of course, but the headline act is the new events and experiences players will undertake as the modes take a cue from other great sports games alongside a dash of unique developments. Call it a breath of fresh air for a mode previously allowing sliders to fly right up to 100, sometimes trivializing the minors-to-majors journey.
